Finishing Nail Caused Water Pipe Leak in Flanders

Job Completed for Finishing Nail Caused Water Pipe Leak in Flanders

Customer Type: n/a

Location: Flanders, NJ

About this project:

At a home in Flanders, New Jersey, a finishing nail punctured a pinhole-sized crack in a water pipe, causing a leak in the partially finished basement. Water was coming out of the pipe non-stop for about 30 minutes. The hardwood, softwood, and carpet materials were affected throughout the home. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Scott Upshaw, arrived at the residence, he inspected the damage thoroughly. Scott determined that the equipment required to dry the home was 6 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, and 1 hardwood floor machine. Technicians then installed the equipment, and in just 3 days, the house was dry!
