The customer in Keyport had experienced a sump pump failure in her basement affecting the carpeting, paneling, and baseboards. The sump pump failure also caused damage to the laundry room and 2 of the customer’s closets. Mike, our project manager, knew from experience to have the crew install 18 air movers and 1 dehumidifier to dry the areas effectively. The demolition and installation of equipment took the crew 5 hours to complete.
In Summit, New Jersey, a homeowner suffered from a washing machine drain pipe leak that caused water to overflow into the laundry room and adjacent basement. There was damage to the carpet, padding, vinyl composite tile, cedar closets, sheetrock, vinyl cove, and baseboards throughout 4 rooms. When our project manager, Adam, arrived at the home, he inspected the damage and determined the most effective drying process. Technicians then extracted all unsalvageable materials and installed 1 air mover, 1 air scrubber, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 large injectidry machine to restore the house thoroughly.
