In Somerville, New Jersey, a homeowner experienced a hot water heater leak that caused damage to their finished basement. The threads on the pipe of the hot water heater failed. The carpet, padding, concrete, trim, drywall, insulation, and framing materials were damaged throughout 5 rooms in the basement. Technicians installed 20 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 large injectidry machine to expedite the drying process.
