A home in Hillsborough, New Jersey, suffered from rupture in the intake pipe to the hot water heater in their finished basement, leaving about 2 inches of standing water. 6 rooms in the basement were affected including the laminate flooring, carpeting, carpet cove, baseboards, quarter round, sheetrock, insulation, and concrete floors and walls. When our experienced project manager, Adam, arrived at the residence, he inspected the area. Due to the extent of damage, the flooring and a section of drywall needed to be removed to ensure no future complications from the incident and the easiest restoration. 2 technicians installed 2 dehumidifiers and 28 air movers to fully dry the property. Within 4 days, the area was dry and the equipment was retrieved.
