In Piscataway, New Jersey, a homeowner suffered damage to the ceiling of their shower due to a leak that originated in the neighboring unit above. The ceiling was damp, causing microbial growth that was present in the home. The drywall, insulation, and framing were affected and were not salvageable. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Mike, arrived at the residence, he inspected the bathroom and removed all damaged materials in the ceiling to ensure no further complications from this incident. Technicians then installed 1 air scrubber and 1 dehumidifier to restore the area.
