Refrigerator Leak in Raritan, NJ

At this home in Raritan, New Jersey, the refrigerator in the kitchen leaked causing water damage to kitchen and basement rooms. Water leaked through 3 layers of the kitchen flooring and into the basement. The leak persisted for a significant amount of time leaking through the tile, linoleum, and ply flooring of the kitchen and then through the ceiling and onto the basement carpeting. A microbial smell began to develop in the home. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Scott Upshaw, arrived at the home, he inspected the damage and communicated the scope of work to the customer. Technicians then installed 8 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, and 2 air scrubbers to dry the property.
