Sewage Leak in Finished Basement in South Orange, NJ

A homeowner in South Orange, New Jersey suffered from a pipe leak in their finished basement. Once the homeowner noticed the issue, Northeast Power Dry was contacted. It was revieled that the water had been flowing behind the wall and drying in the french drainage system for an undisclosed amount of time. When the wall was opened to resolve the source of loss, sewage and standing water was discovered. The tile flooring and baseboard and drywall within the walls have been affected. Once the area was disinfected and sanitized, two technicians were needed to install 4 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber. Drying was complete within only 3 days
