A home in Matawan, New Jersey, experienced a leak from the washing machine that resulted in damage to 10 rooms throughout the house. The valve to the water filter broke and was causing water to flow out of the appliance. The sheetrock, carpeting, ceiling tiles, concrete floors, tile floors, hardwood floors, and insulation were all affected due to this water loss. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Adam, arrived at the residence, he inspected the situation and then instructed 2 technicians to install 27 air movers, 4 dehumidifiers, 1 air scrubber, and 3 hardwood floor machines. Due to the extent of damage, the insulation and some sheetrock needed to be removed from the home to ensure proper drying. The property was completely dry within only 4 days!
