In Basking Ridge, New Jersey, this homeowner suffered from a hot water heater failure in the finished basement of their home. The carpet, padding, drywall, baseboards, and concrete materials were affected throughout the entire area. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Mike, arrived on site, he inspected the damage and noticed mold development on a section of the wall. Mike communicated the most effective drying process to the customer. The carpeting had to be removed in order to prevent further mold development. Technicians then installed 5 dehumidifiers and 1 air scrubber. The dehumidifiers were set up because of the slight mold development.
