Sewer Backup in Basement in South Plainfield, NJ

A sewer backup in a finished basement occurred at a residence in South Plainfield, New Jersey. The basement, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and utility room of the basement have all been affected by the sewage. When our project manager, Christopher, arrived at the home, the incident was inspected and stabilized. The carpet and padding needed to be removed from the infected basement and bedroom areas. Equipment was then set up. NEPD used 25 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, and 1 air scrubber. The drying process was finished in 4 days.
