At this home in Somerset, New Jersey, a homeowner suffered from water and mold damage in the basement. The damage was caused by a sewage leak coming from the property’s exterior sheathing causing damage to walls, ceiling, and hardwood materials in the property. Northeast PowerDry Project Manager, Scott Upshaw, immediately arrived on-site and thoroughly assessed the damage. He communicated the scope of work with the customer. Two of our technicians performed the removal of affected walls for proper drying, application of disinfectant for areas with mold. There were also two dehumidifiers and two air scrubbers installed for faster drying.
