In Wanaque, New Jersey, a homeowner experienced a broken water line in the first-floor laundry room. The water affected the playroom, closet area, and crawlspace. The materials affected were ceramic tile, floating laminate, concrete, drywall, baseboards, and insulation. The homeowner’s plumber referred us to them for professional drying.

Solutions Provided:

The homeowner called Northeast Power Dry to assess the damage and for a free moisture inspection. Our Project Manager, Joseph DePalma, arrived on-site within an hour and thoroughly assessed the damage in the home. The homeowner agreed with the scope of work and filed an insurance claim. Two of our technicians started the removal of the affected ceiling, insulation, baseboard, and paneling for proper drying. After that, we sanitized the areas and there were thirteen air movers, one dehumidifier and one air scrubber set up to to effectively dry the home. The customer was grateful that we were able to provide details regarding the scope of work to be completed so quickly.
