Why did the customer contact us?

Northeast Power Dry received a call from a homeowner in Old Bridge, New Jersey, regarding a leak occurring from a clogged air conditioning unit. The air conditioning had been leaking for a few days, making this a category 2 water loss. Additionally, the neighboring condo unit below was affected by this leak. In the upstairs home, the utility closet and hallway were wet. The plywood with tile flooring inside the closet was damaged, as well as the carpet, padding, and drywall in the hall adjacent to the closet. In the home below, the hardwood floor, walls, base molding, and vinyl insulation throughout the bedroom and hallway areas were damaged. Both houses needed restoration. Northeast Power Dry arrived immediately to alleviate both of the homeowner’s worries.

Solutions Provided:

When our experienced project manager, Scott, arrived at the building, he inspected the damage and determined the most effective course of action to restore the homes properly. Scott aided both homeowners in filing a claim to the insurance companies. Once the water was extracted, technicians installed equipment in both houses. In the upstairs unit, 4 air movers and 1 dehumidifier were set up, and in the downstairs unit, 8 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber were positioned throughout the area. The set up for both units had been completed in only 4 hours. Within 4 days, both condo units were completely dry, and all equipment was retrieved. The homeowners were extremely grateful for our ability to quickly, professionally, and effectively handle the situation.
