Why did the customer contact us?

In Springfield, New Jersey, about 2 inches of standing groundwater flooded a homeowner’s partially finished basement. The main water line broke about 150 feet from the house, causing groundwater to rise quickly. The two sump pumps in the basement were unable to drain the water as fast as it was flooding in. The sheetrock, carpeting, framing lumber, vinyl tile, and some of the homeowner’s belongings were damaged from the water loss. Northeast Power Dry provided the homeowner the help they needed in restoring their property.

Solutions Provided:

Our Northeast Power Dry team arrived within an hour of receiving the initial call. Technicians conducted moisture readings to inspect all affected areas thoroughly. Our team worked directly with the customer by communicating the full scope of work and answering any potential questions. The standing water was extracted from the home, all affected areas were sanitized, and equipment was set up to complete the drying process. Our team installed 22 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, and 3 injectidry machines to ensure complete drying of the property.
