Job completed for Second Floor Toilet Line Leak

Completion date: 2019-06-11

Location:Bedminster, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

Late on a Saturday night, a homeowner in Bedminster, New Jersey, contacted Northeast PowerDry regarding a leak that originated from the second-floor toilet line. This caused water to drip down into the dining room below and affect the ceiling and walls. The sheetrock, tile cove, and tile flooring were affected. Additionally, the homeowner was extremely concerned about the new laminate flooring that has just been installed in her home. If laminate flooring suffers from extensive water damage, there is no way it can be salvaged and restored.

Solutions Provided:

In order to ensure that the laminate flooring is saved, Northeast Power Dry project manager, Adam, arrived about an hour after the customer called and set up equipment to immediately begin drying the floor. The following morning, an additional 6 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, 2 air scrubbers, and 2 injectidry machines were placed throughout the home to effectively and efficiently dry the property. After just 3 days, the residence was fully dry.
