Why did the customer contact us?

An elderly homeowner in Somerset, New Jersey, suffered from 2 inches of standing water in her basement and was unsure of exactly where the water was coming from. The homeowner had a difficult time accessing her basement and needed assistance in getting her home dried and restored. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Christopher Penrose, arrived at the residence, he immediately called a plumber to stabilize the situation. Initially, the woman believed her hot water heater was the issue, but upon inspection, Christopher recognized that the sump pump had failed.

Solutions Provided:

Our Project Manager arrived at the home and communicated the extent of the damage to the homeowner. Our technicians got to work that same day. They extracted the water and cleaned the basement, they then installed 6 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber. The equipment was set up to ensure effective and proper drying of the area. Within only 3 days, the basement was completely dry! The homeowner was very grateful for our ability to quickly and correctly handle the situation.
