Job completed for Standing Water in Finished Basement

Northeast PowerDry received a call regarding a broken pipe that resulted in standing water in the finished basement of the home. The pipe break affected the carpet, laminate flooring, and walls in the basement. Not having much experience dealing with insurance, the homeowner was stressed and frantic.

Project Manager, Christopher, drove to personally meet with the customer. Christopher was able to assist the customer in setting up and determining a plan of action. The homeowner was extremely grateful and happy that Christopher was able to help him with dealing directly with the insurance company. Due to the pipe break, some of the carpets were not salvageable. Other parts of the carpet were able to be extracted and dried in place. A crew of NEPD technicians installed 44 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, 2 large injectidry machines, 1 large injectidry, and 1 air scrubber in order to dry the affected areas. After just 3 days, the home was dry and the equipment was picked up! The homeowner was pleased that the basement was dried in a timely manner.
