On the 1st of September 2021, Northeast Power Dry received numerous calls from people hit by hurricane Ida. One of them is Marissa of Mountainside, New Jersey, whose house got flooded. The homeowner has a sump pump that unfortunately stopped working and resulted in significant water coming into the home. The homeowner needed immediate assistance in drying out their property

Solutions Provided:

Northeast Power Dry Project Manager, Adam, evaluated the damage and communicated the scope of work with the customer. Two of our crews began removing all the unsalvageable materials, including wet parts of the drywall, insulation, laminate floor, and baseboards for proper drying. All areas were steam cleaned, disinfected, and we dried everything in place with three dehumidifiers, one air scrubber, and twenty air mover machines.

This home in Mountainside, New Jersey, experienced a sump pump failure that left about an inch of standing water in their finished basement. The water damaged the carpeting, paneling, and concrete. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Scott, arrived at the residence, he began extracting the water. Technicians then installed 15 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber. The basement was completely dry within only 4 days!
