This home in Westfield, New Jersey, suffered from a sewer backup that occurred in the basement. NEPD project manager, Michael Kowal, arrived on-site to evaluate the situation. After an inspection, he discovered that it was due to a clog in the sewer main line that caused sewage and dirt into the basement. There was only one room affected in the basement but the home experienced a strong odor. To dry and sanitize the affected area, Mike instructed our technicians to used 1 air scrubber, 1 dehumidifier, and 3 air movers.
