In Westfield, New Jersey, a homeowner’s kitchen sink was accidentally left on causing water to overflow onto the hardwood floor, kitchen cabinets, and drawers. Once the water began to drain, it caused the unfinished basement slop sink to backup as well, where water leaked onto the concrete floor. Throughout 6 rooms, the baseboards, sheetrock, softwood, subfloor, insulation, hardwood, and concrete materials suffered damage. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Adam, arrived at the residence, he inspected the affected areas and determined the most effective drying set up. Technicians installed 1 hardwood floor machine, 1 small injectidry machine, 25 air movers, and 2 dehumidifiers. In 3 days, the home was fully dry.
