At this home in West Orange, New Jersey, the homeowner experienced a water heater failure affecting carpet, pad, drywall, panelling, softwood, and concrete materials across 2 rooms in the property. Upon the arrival of Northeast Power Dry project manager, Scott Upshaw, a strong microbial smell was also detected in the rooms affected. Scott determined the best course of action and communicated the process with the customer. In order to mitigate this loss, 9 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 large inject dry were installed.
