Water Heater Leak in the Finished Basement in Union, NJ

This home in Union, New Jersey, experienced a water heater failure that occurred in their finished basement. The failure affected the drywall, panelling, mouldings, and softwoods in the utility room, washroom, bedroom and hallway area. NEPD project manager, Thomas Murin, evaluated the situation and communicated the drying process with the customer. After the clean up, disinfection, and removal of unsalvageable materials, our technicians setup 9 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber to dry the home.
