Why did the customer contact us?

Northeast PowerDry received a call regarding a sump pump failure. When the homeowner went downstairs, she was shocked to see 4 inches of standing water in the basement. Not having much experience dealing with insurance, the homeowner was stressed and frantic.

Solutions Provided:

Project manager, Michele, drove to personally meet with the customer. She was able to assist the customer in setting up and determining a plan of action. After assessing the damage, Michele decided that the water needed to be extracted immediately. The homeowner was unable to contact her insurance adjuster, leaving her to make the extracting decision on her own. After assuring the customer that this was an urgent matter, she gave Northeast Power Dry permission to start the extraction process. The insurance adjuster was happy that we made this decision in order to prevent even more damage to the home. The homeowner was extremely grateful for the insurance assistance that Michele was able to assist with. Other than insurance, the customer’s main concern was how quickly we can begin the drying process. Michele sent a crew out immediately and they arrived at the home in 30 minutes! When they arrived, two Northeast PowerDry technicians installed 16 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber in order to dry the affected areas. In just three days, the home was dry again! The customer was extremely grateful for the urgency and service that Northeast PowerDry was able to provide.
