In Belle Mead, New Jersey, a homeowner experienced a break in their toilet intake valve when trying to replace the toilet. The intake valve break caused water to spew onto the hardwood floors throughout the first level of his home, causing the flooring to buckle and cup. Water also seeped into the partially finished basement. A total of 8 rooms were affected, including hardwood, tile, sheetrock, baseboard, carpet, padding, and framing materials. The homeowner needed immediate assistance in restoring his home.

Solutions Provided:

Technicians arrived quickly to install 6 hardwood floor machines, extract the water, and salvage the flooring. After the hardwood floors were tended to, technicians then set up an additional 40 air movers and 6 dehumidifiers.
