In Summit, New Jersey, a homeowner suffered from a sewer line failure in the finished basement. The break caused damage to the drywall and vinyl flooring. This home required immediate assistance in extracting the sewer water, removing the affected materials, and restoring the air quality and cleanliness of the home.

When Northeast Power Dry Project Manager, Tom Murin, arrived at the home, he thoroughly inspected the damage and communicated the full scope of work to the customer. Our technicians started to remove all unsalvageable materials, steam cleaned and sanitized the entire basement. After that, one air scrubber, one dehumidifier, and 19 fans were installed in the home. After four days, the basement was dry, and all equipment was retrieved.
