Why did the customer contact us?

At this home in Fair Haven, New Jersey, the ejector pump failed, damaging 6 rooms of the finished basement. The carpet, padding, drywall, moldings, and concrete materials were affected. Elevated moisture readings were detected in the playroom, bathroom, utility room, and bedroom of the basement. This water loss was classified as category 2, meaning that there was a significant degree of potentially harmful substances contaminating the water. The homeowner needed assistance in removing the water and drying out their property correctly.

Solutions Provided:

Angelo Curro, experienced Northeast Power Dry Project Manager, arrived at the home to resolve the situation. He inspected the damage thoroughly and communicated the most effective course of action to the customer. The project manager also assisted in coordinating communication with the homeowner’s insurance company. Once that was settled, technicians extracted the water and installed 16 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers to dry the property. The customer was pleased with our ability to work quickly and effectively.
