Why did the customer contact us?

Northeast PowerDry received a call regarding a hot water heater break that occurred in a homeowner’s vacant residence in Lakewood, New Jersey. The homeowner currently resides in Hawaii. The break caused water damage to the dining room, laundry room, and living room affecting the carpeting, padding, laminate floors, and baseboards. Initially, the customer had reached out to a separate restoration company, but when Northeast PowerDry Project Manager, Scott Upshaw, arrived at the home, he located more areas throughout the home that were wet that the other company disregarded. The customer was highly concerned about the financing of this restoration.

Solutions Provided:

Project Manager, Scott, arrived at the home within an hour to assess the damage. Scott was able to aid the customer in setting up and getting approval for a financing program through the insurance company. If Northeast PowerDry was not at the scene, those issues would have not been attended to and could have potentially caused further complications in the future. Once the damaged materials were removed from the home, and the water was extracted, the area was cleaned. Two Northeast PowerDry technicians then installed 14 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers to fully dry the property. The house was dry within only 4 days and the equipment was retrieved!
