Kitchen Wall Pipe Burst in Summit, NJ

A homeowner in Summit, New Jersey experienced a pipe burst in the kitchen wall. The water seeped through the laminate kitchen floor and into the basement affecting the basement drywall, ceiling, and carpeting. To properly clean and dry the area, our project manager, Christopher, removed part of the laminate kitchen floor, a section of the drywall in the basement, and the wet insulation in the basement ceiling. Additionally, the water from the corresponding carpet section was extracted and dried, restoring the carpet flooring. The kitchen baseboards behind the cabinets were removed in order to insert the injectidry machine. 7 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, 1 air scrubber, and 1 injectidry machine were used to complete this job. Northeast Power Dry was able to disinfect and dry the area for the homeowner!
