Why did the customer contact us?

At this home in Livingston, New Jersey, a sump pump failure occurred, affecting the homeowner’s finished basement. The framing, concrete, drywall, trim, and tile materials were damaged throughout 2 rooms in the basement. The homeowner needed assistance in restoring their property.

Solutions Provided:

When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Mike Kowal, arrived at the residence, he thoroughly inspected all affected areas. During his assessment, Mike discovered that there was a second leak that was also causing water to seep into the basement: the 1.5-inch drain line. The homeowner’s plumber was then contacted to fix the issue. Once all of the sources of loss were settled, the affected areas were cleaned, and all unsalvageable materials were neatly removed to prevent mold development. A crew of technicians installed 2 air movers and 1 air scrubber to effectively restore the property.
