Completion date: 2019-08-06

Location:Morristown, NJ

Why did the customer contact us?

In Morristown, New Jersey, a condominium unit suffered from a toilet bowl leak that affected 8 rooms throughout 3 levels of the home. The owner of the condo unit was abroad in England when her daughter discovered water damaging her home and belongings. The sheetrock, carpet, padding, hardwood floors, and baseboards were affected throughout the property. In the finished basement, a piece of the ceiling had peeled. Since the owner was away, the leak occurred at an earlier time and was most likely present in the house for a few days. This customer needed immediate assistance in getting the situation stabilized and her home restored.

Solutions Provided:

When Northeast Power Dry received the call, experienced project manager, Adam, arrived at the home to resolve the situation. Since the homeowner was unavailable, Adam coordinated communication between the homeowner, her family, her insurance company, and the Homeowner’s Association to find storage for her belongings, dry out the house, and complete the job. Once that was settled, technicians extracted the water and installed 35 air movers, 3 hardwood floor machines, 6 dehumidifiers, and 1 injectidry machine. The Northeast Power Dry crew was happy to work with the customer in doing whatever they could to minimize stress and restore the property.
