Why did the customer contact us?

At this home in Florham Park, New Jersey, a homeowner’s toilet supply line had failed, causing damage to 7 rooms and 2 stairwells throughout the house. Water ran out of the first-floor bathroom, into the dining room, and traveled down into the basement below. The linoleum flooring, structural softwood, drywall, carpet, padding, and hardwood materials were damaged. The loss was classified as a category 2, meaning that the water was partially contaminated. The homeowner needed assistance in removing and drying the greywater that had spread throughout the multiple rooms of the house.

Solutions Provided:

When Northeast Power Dry received the call, our experienced project manager, Angelo Curro, arrived at the home to resolve the situation. He detected elevated moisture readings throughout all affected areas. Angelo communicated directly with the customer to come up with the most effective course of action. Once that was settled, technicians extracted the water and 12 air movers, 1 injectidry machine, and 3 dehumidifiers were installed. After only 4 days, the home was restored.
