A homeowner in Livingston, New Jersey, experienced a water leak from under the kitchen sink. Water seeped through the floor and walls of the kitchen and damaged the basement below. The hardwood, cabinets, framing, drywall, insulation, ceiling tiles, and engineered floor materials were affected throughout the 2 levels. Due to the extent of damage, unsalvageable materials needed removal.
