This home in Martinsville, New Jersey, suffered water damage due to the storm and sump pump failure. The rainwater came into the house and filled the basement about chest level, affecting the concrete flooring, personal items, and sheetrock. The homeowner needed immediate assistance in drying out their home.

Northeast Power Dry Project Manager, Joe, went on-site to inspect the damage in the basement. Upon inspection, some areas in the house were possible to contain mold. Joe recommended a mold test and put a plan together with the homeowner to clean and dry the home. After a thorough inspection, two of our technicians began cleaning up and removing all unsalvageable materials. All areas were thoroughly steam cleaned and sanitized, and we installed three dehumidifiers and two air scrubbers to expedite the drying process.
