Sewer Backup in Garwood, NJ

This home in Garwood, NJ suffered from a sewer backup affecting multiple rooms in the basement. The carpeting and walls in the basement were both damaged. A crew from Northeast Power Dry arrived at the home right away to start the restoration process. They removed the carpeting from the entire basement and cut out 2 feet from the walls around the basement. The baseboards were removed and the affected areas were steam cleaned and disinfected. The crew also used 1 air scrubber, 1 dehumidifier, and 9 fans to finish cleaning and drying the area. This process took 8 hours, and the equipment was left to successfully dry the area over the course of 3 days.
