Why did the customer contact us?

Northeast Power Dry received a call from a homeowner in Madison, New Jersey, regarding a dishwasher leak. The dishwasher intake hose broke, causing damage to the kitchen cabinets and vinyl floor, as well as the basement ceiling, concrete floor, and subfloor. In drying out the dishwasher situation, Northeast Power Dry discovered that there was an asbestos tile floor. The homeowner was unaware and upset that there was asbestos in her home.

Solutions Provided:

Northeast Power Dry project manager, Adam, was able to work directly with the customer and the customer’s insurance company. He received rapid approval from the insurance company in covering the removal of the asbestos floor. It was unfortunate that asbestos was in her home, but Adam had the resources to effectively and quickly resolve the issue. Equipment was then set up to complete restoration of the house. Two technicians installed 6 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers. Northeast Power Dry finished the job in only 3 hours.
