Failed Water Heater in Essex Fells, NJ

A homeowner in Essex Fells, NJ, experienced water damage after their water heater failed. The utility room and finished basement with concrete and carpet flooring were all affected.
When Zeyad YoussefAgha, one of Northeast Power Dry Project Managers, arrived, he thoroughly inspected the damage and went over the process with the homeowner.
Two technicians started the work that day. They disinfected, extracted the remaining water from the carpet, and removed the paneling. To expedite the drying process, they installed three fans, one dehumidifier, and one air scrubber to expedite the drying process.
