In Basking Ridge, New Jersey, a homeowner suffered from a pipe break, causing significant damage to 4 rooms in the home. The water loss originated from the pipe under the sink of the library room. A strong microbial smell began to develop along with significant mold growth. The sheetrock, cabinet, baseboard, tile, and large area rug materials were damaged. When Northeast Power Dry project manager, Adam Steig, arrived at the residence, he determined that the loss classification was category 3. This meant that wet materials needed to be removed to avoid possible future complications.
