This came up through the toilet in the basement and affected the carpet pad, baseboards, and drywall. Two technicians arrived to set up 4 air movers, 1 dehumidifier, and 1 air scrubber to clean and dry the area. This process took 4 hours, and the equipment was left to dry the area over the course of 2 days.

Sewer Backup in Fanwood, NJ

At this home in Fanwood, New Jersey, the homeowner experienced a sewer backup that resulted in some standing water. The backup affected the unfinished basement, bathroom, and first level of the home. Upon the arrival of Northeast Power Dry project manager, Michele Rynearson, the rooms were inspected and the best course of action was determined. In order to mitigate this loss, 8 air movers and 2 dehumidifiers were installed.
