In Maplewood, NJ, a homeowner suffered from a broken waste line that caused sewer water to leak in the kitchen and into the basement below. There was standing water on the kitchen floor and the ceiling and cabinets were affected. The sheetrock, tile, and hardwood floor were damaged. The sheetrock began to fall apart. When Scott, a Northeast Power Dry project manager, arrived at the house, he inspected the situation and disinfected the area. Due to the extent of damage, the flooring and drywall were removed. Technicians then installed 8 air movers, 2 dehumidifiers, and 2 air scrubbers.
